At Brodheadsville last night, Emmaus posted a season-high for goals in a game as they rolled to a 14-4 win over Pleasant Valley.
Eight different Hornets posted scores in the game for head coach Justin Fuhrman’s team, which improved to 5-4 overall and 4-1 in the EPC.
Sophomore Dylan Maloney recorded his second straight four goal game of the season, junior Anthony Attar added his second hat trick and sophomore Alex Younker added a pair of goals in the victory.
Another sophomore, Greyson Schmidt, had a goal and an assist while junior Reiken Bechtel and sophomore Ryan Nytz each recorded their first goals of the season. Between the pipes, freshman Liam Lewis made five saves.
Pleasant Valley dropped to 3-5 with the loss. The Bears have dropped three straight games.
Emmaus will return to action at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday as they host Nazareth in a key league matchup. The game will be streamed LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network beginning at 6:15 p.m.
