Boys Lacrosse – Hornets celebrate Senior Night with shutout win over Northwestern; Flok matches career-high with 7 goals in victory

RECAP >> Emmaus celebrated its Senior Night on Monday with a 13-0 rout over Northwestern Lehigh at Memorial Field.

Junior Connor Flok matched his career-high with seven goals to lead the Hornets who improved to 14-1. Flok now has 54 on the season and moves into sixth place on Emmaus’ all-time scoring list for goals in a single season.

Senior Adam Monek recorded his fifth hat trick of the season, while junior Zack Younker had a game-high four assists pushing his total to 47 on the season, tying him for third most in a single-season in program history with Drew Phillipes ’13.

In goal, senior Ben Franco (5 saves) and junior Jared Speicher (six) combined on the shutout.

Prior to the game Emmaus honored its 14 seniors: Connor Carter, Zach Whalen, Zach Palinkas, Gavin Hoben, Adam Monek, Tyler Clokey, Cade Speicher, Derek Bishop, Ben Franco, Nate Seidel, Jack Minahan, Gannon Mesko, Justin Hollinger and Matt Dapper.

Emmaus will be back in action on Wednesday at 7 p.m. as they close out league play at rival Parkland. The game will be carried LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network.
