NOTES: Off an emotional win over rival Parkland last Friday in the District XI Championship game, Emmaus is back in the PIAA State playoffs for the first time since 2015 …..The Hornets have bowed out in the first round of states in 2015 (to CB East 11-5), 2014 (to Wilson West Lawn 13-7) and 2013 (to Wilson West Lawn again 12-11 OT) …..Emmaus’ last win in states came back in 2010, a 12-11 win over Lower Merion. The Hornets also defeated Lower Merion in 2009 in the opening round 7-5. In both of those years, Emmaus had its season ended by Conestoga (15-5 in 2010, 9-4 in 2009)
