RECAP >> Senior Aidan Garrett (pictured) had a monster effort in leading Emmaus to a 10-4 non-league victory over Central Bucks East on Saturday morning inside East Penn School District Stadium.
Garrett registered his first career hat trick, went a perfect 18-for-18 at the faceoff-X and picked up a game-high 17 groundballs in leading the Hornets, who jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first quarter and were never challenged the rest of the way from the visitors of the Suburban One Conference.
The victory helped Emmaus improve to 11-4 overall, while the loss drops the Patriots to 7-6.
Junior Will Barber added two goals and two assists in the win and senior John Hughes also added a pair of scores. Freshman Jack Restino also had a goal and an assist. In goal, junior Sam Rainford was credited with seven saves.
For CB East, Thomas Williams and Matt Bowen both scored two goals.
Emmaus will return to action on Tuesday as they host rival Parkland at Memorial Field at 6:30 p.m. The game will be aired LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network beginning with the pregame show at 6:20 p.m.
