In the first-ever meeting between the two programs, it was Emmaus coming away with the 10-6 road win at Boyertown on Friday afternoon.
Senior Will Barber was once again the catalyst in leading the Hornets to victory with a five-point effort, registering a hat trick to go along with two assists.
Senior Liam Rooney also scored a pair of goals, junior Kaleb Mains added a goal and an assist and senior goalie Sam Rainford made 15 saves for Emmaus, which won its fourth straight game in improving to 8-1 on the season.
Boyertown (3-5 overall) was led in scoring by junior Brayden Kuhar who had two goals and two assists. Senior Mason Barndt added a pair of goals.
Emmaus will return to action on Monday at 6:30 p.m. as they host the two-time defending District XI champs Freedom (6-2).
