Boys Tennis – announces schedule for upcoming season; Hornets open on the road at Bethlehem Catholic on March 11

The Emmaus boys tennis team has announced its schedule for the upcoming spring sports season.

The Hornets will play 18 matches (9 home/9 away) according to head coach Brian Bleam who’s beginning his second season.

Emmaus is coming off a successful 2018 campaign where they finished 14-3 overall and 12-2 in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference.

The Hornets will open their season with three matches in three days, beginning on March 11 at 3:30 p.m. as they travel to Bethlehem Catholic, followed by a home match vs Allen on March 12 and a road contest at Liberty March 13.

Emmaus will face defending regular-season EPC champ Nazareth on the road on April 11 and will host tournament champ and rival Parkland on April 16. Both matches start at 3:30 p.m.

The non-league schedule will include matches against Wilson West Lawn (March 16), Blue Mountain (March 18), Moravian Academy (March 29) and Southern Lehigh (April 6).

The Hornets will be on the court on Monday, March 5 as the first official practice date for the spring sports season gets underway.
