Becahi 38, Emmaus 25 

RECAP — Emmaus battled undefeated Bethlehem Catholic through the first eight minutes of Friday night’s game at ‘The Hive’, but the Golden Hawks took control in the middle quarters to remain unbeaten and pull away for a 38-25 win.

The loss was the second in a 24-hour period for the Hornets who remained winless in the EPC (0-6) and dropped to 2-8 overall.

Sophomore Gabrielle Martin matched her season-high with 10 points for Emmaus which trailed just 10-5 after the first quarter, but saw the deficit grow to as much as 17 (34-17) after three quarters.

Becahi (10-0) was led by freshman Kourtney Wilson who matched Martin with 10 points. Teammates Briana Barnard and Kiki Walters each added seven points.

Emmaus will look to get back on track on Tuesday when they return home to face Pocono Mountain East (1-3 EPC, 2-7 overall) at 7 p.m.
