RECAP >> Seven different players scored goals as Emmaus snapped a two-game losing streak last night with a 13-8 win over Central Catholic at Memorial Field.

Senior Jordyn Poll led the offense scoring a game-high four goals for the Hornets who improved to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the EPC.

Also figuring in to the scoring were junior Abby DiComes who had a five-point night with three goals to go along with two assists. Sophomore Sarah Gross added two goals and an assist, while senior Olivia Schmidt, junior Brooke Peterson and sophomores Rylie Poll and Taylor Younker all added solo scores. In goal, senior Alani Shotwell was credited with seven saves and junior Devin O’Neil had one stop.

For Central Catholic (1-3), Kate Raymond had a hat trick, while Abby Aemisegeo and Katie Seiler each scored two goals. Goalie Trizzah Savagaji made 12 saves.

Emmaus will return to action on Saturday at 10 a.m. as they travel to Wilson for a non-league game.
