Emmaus 42, ES South 30 (Monday)
At East Stroudsburg South, Emmaus won five of the final six bouts to rally for a victory over the Cavaliers.
The Hornets trailed 24-6 after seven bouts but were then able to get pins from Haily Laible (142), Ariana Koberlein (148), Olivya Kroope (155) and Rayne Shaw (235) and a pair of forfeit wins to pull out the victory.
Emmaus wound up winning seven of the 13 matches, picking up falls in five of those matches.
The win keeps the Hornets unbeaten in the EPC (4-0) while improving to 9-1 overall.
Emmaus will return to action on Monday, December 29 when they compete in the Governor Mifflin Tournament at 9 a.m.
