Boys Lacrosse – Hornets move to 2-0 on the season after 14-2 rout of Becahi; Flok records career-best 5 goals

RECAP >> Junior Connor Flok, coming off a career-high four goals in his team’s season-opening 10-6 win over Moravian Academy, did one better in the Hornets second game of the season on Thursday as he scored five goals in leading Emmaus to a 14-2 win over Bethlehem Catholic.

Flok was one of seven different players to find the back of the net as the Hornets improved to 2-0 on the season.

Senior Zach Whalen recorded a hat trick in the win and fellow senior Adam Monek added a pair of goals. Junior Zack Younker had a career-high four assists, while three goalies – senior Ben Franco, junior Jared Speicher and freshman Sam Rainford – combined to allow just two goals.

Emmaus will return to action on Thursday, April 8 as they travel to Saucon Valley at 4:30 p.m.
