The Eyer Middle School softball team enjoyed an outstanding season this past Spring finishing with a perfect 14-0 mark.
Head coach Sarah Oswald’s team rolled through the competition outscoring its opponents 180-24.
Offensively, the team had a number of outstanding hitters led by Morgan Schwab who had a .700 batting average with 28 hits, 26 RBIs and six home runs. Mari Eiswerth was next with a .553 average followed by Sydney Bennett (.488), Julia DeFanti (.405) and Caylie Granitz (.394).
In the circle, Eiswerth led the pitching staff with a 128 strikeouts and a 1.056 ERA. Laura Kackenmeister also shined with a 1.400 ERA and 21 strikeouts.
