GAME NOTES: Emmaus opened up the District XI playoffs last Thursday with an 11-3 win over Liberty behind the pitching of junior Autumn Held who tossed a complete game. Sr. Daria Krout was 2-for-3 with three RBI an seniors Mason Roselli and Alexis Schoonover each drove in two runs … The Hornets defeated Nazareth earlier this season 13-2 back on April 7 pounding out 14 hits and three home runs. Emmaus also beat the Blue Eagles in the district quarterfinals a year ago 5-1 at Kiwanis Field … Nazareth rolled in its opener defeated Pleasant Valley 8-0 behind pitchers Avery Kauffman and Kylie Grover who combined on a two-hitter and 14 strikeouts … The Blue Eagles are coming off winning its first league title since 2010. They defeated Northampton 5-3 in the finals
