Boys Basketball – Hornets fall behind Bethlehem Catholic early, never recover in suffering 61-46 defeat.

RECAP >> Visiting Bethlehem Catholic outscored Emmaus in all four quarters last night as the Golden Hawks defeated the Hornets 61-46 at ‘The Hive.’

Seniors Jayden Walsh and Mason Boyd each scored a team-high 11 points for Emmaus, which dropped to 3-8 overall and 2-4 in the EPC. The Hornets have dropped five of their last six games.

Bethlehem Catholic (6-5, 2-3) got a game-high 18 points from senior Julian Thomas and sophomore Isiah Alexander. Thomas scored nine points in each half, while Alexander did most of his scoring after halftime with 16 points. The Hawks have won three straight and four of their last five.

Emmaus will look to get back on track tonight at 7 p.m. as they host Pocono Mountain East (2-7, 2-4).
