Boys Basketball – Henseler scores career-high 16 points leading 4 players in double figures as Hornets roll ES North 80-60 in coach Yoder’s 300th career game

RECAP >> Emmaus posted a season-high for points in a game last night at ‘The Hive’ as the Hornets rolled to an 80-60 win over East Stroudsburg North in head coach Steve Yoder’s 300th career game.

Junior Shep Henseler had a huge game leading four Hornets in double figures with a career-high 16 points. Senior Mason Boyd and junior Danny Bohman each scored 12 points, while senior Jayden Walsh added 11 for Emmaus, which improved to 4-5 in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and 5-9 overall.

East Stroudsburg North was led by senior Bekim Azemi, who scored a game-high 20 points. Classmates Kariym Patterson and Rhassan Jacobs added 16 and 11 points, respectively for the Timberwolves who remained winless in the league at 0-8 and dropped to 1-12 overall.

Emmaus will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Allen to take on the Canaries at 7 p.m.
