RECAP >> In what head coach Justin Fuhrman called his team’s best game of the season, Emmaus went on the road last night and defeated a much-improved Nazareth squad 12-3.
Four different players did all the scoring for the Hornets, who won their 10th straight game in improving to 7-0 in the EPC and 14-1 overall.
Senior Will Barber, who broke the school record for goals in a career in the team’s 19-1 win over Becahi earlier this week, had another big game in leading Emmaus to the victory, tallying four goals and adding three assists. Classmate Liam Rooney also added four goals, while junior Kaleb Mains added a hat trick and senior Marcus Puentes a solo goal. Senior Sam Rainford was busy making 19 saves between the pipes.
Nazareth dropped to 5-2 in the EPC and 11-4 overall with loss.
Emmaus will return to action on Monday at home as they host Northampton on Senior Night at 6:30 p.m.
