Boys soccer – Hornets post 14th straight clean sheet in 9-0 rout of East Stroudsburg South

Seven different players scored goals last night in Emmaus’ 9-0 rout of East Stroudsburg South at Memorial Field.

Senior Ryan Kiernan and sophomore Connor Powell led the offense with two goals each as the Hornets posted their 14th straight clean sheet of the season in improving to 13-0-1 in the EPC and 13-1-1 overall.

Seniors Elijah Miller, Marcus Puentes and Elijah Daly all added a goal and an assist in the win.

In goal, senior Colin Wilson and sophomores Gavin Yartymyk and Will Peck combined on the shutout.

East Stroudsburg South dropped 2-11-1 in the EPC and 2-12-1 overall with the loss.

Emmaus will return to action on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. as they travel to Stroudsburg (5-9).
