GAME NOTES – Emmaus is appearing in states for the first time in 16 years after finishing runner-up in the District XI Tournament. The Hornets last played on Thursday, May 28 falling to Northampton 2-1. Emmaus last won a state game back in 2003 defeating Hatboro Horsham 5-1. Emmaus last won a state title back in 2000. Souderton is appearing for the first time since 2006. The Indians lost in the District One championship game, 6-1 to Owen J. Roberts. A year ago, they went 16-4. Souderton returns eight starters off of last year’s squad. The Indians last won a state title back in 2014.
