PREVIEW – Coming off of winning their second straight District XI title, the Hornets now turn their attention towards states and a tough opening round matchup vs Hempfield. This is the second consecutive season that Emmaus has hosted a first round game, A year ago, the Hornets lost in five sets to Governor Mifflin. Emmaus’ last win in in states came back in 2023 as they went on the road and swept Delaware Valley 3-0 … Hempfield is appearing in states first time since 2021… The Black Knights have won 10 state titles, the last coming in 2016.
