GOLF
At Brookside Country Club, Emmaus won its 10th straight match as the Hornets defeated CCHS 370-406.
Senior Evan Walters, the Hornets top golfer, had the low round of the day with a 4-under 67. It was the sixth round of the season in the 60s for Walters.
Junior Anderson Francis finished second overall with a 2-over 73 followed by freshman Jake Socci (76) and seniors Ben Nichols and Silas Wellhoener, who both tied with a 77.
Up next for Emmaus will be a showdown against rival Parkland at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Twin Lakes.

FIELD HOCKEY
At Memorial Field, the Hornets rolled to their third win in as many games in a 12-0 shutout of Pleasant Valley.
Six different players scored goals in the win for head coach Sue Butz Stavin’s team who improved to 3-0 on the season.
Senior Gracie Huffer led the offense with a game-high four goals, junior Ella Horner added a hat trick and classmate Riley Povilaitis added a pair of goals. Junior Marissa Gigliotti and senior Sadie Nawarynski each had a game-high three assists.
Emmaus outshot PV 54-0 and held a 15-0 advantage in penalty corners. In goal, senior Emily Romano, junior Erin Bechtel and freshman Kyleigh Greiss combined on the shutout.
The Hornets will return to action on Thursday at 3:45 p.m. as they host Liberty.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
At Emmaus, the Hornets were stunned by Nazareth as the Blue Eagles swept the match in straight sets 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-13) handing Emmaus its first loss of the season.

GIRLS TENNIS
At Emmaus, the Hornets swept Freedom 7-0 to remain unbeaten on the season.
In singles play, sophomore Zoe Santana (No.1), senior Gabby Tranguch (No.2) and classmate Brooke DiGiacomo (No. 3) all won in straight sets.
Emmaus also swept all four doubles.
The Hornets will return to action at 3:30 p.m. today as they travel to Easton.
