Coach Cari: “This team put in a lot of time in the off-season. In the winter, they were in the weight before 6 a.m. and we’d lift and condition and when it got a little warmer we would continue to lift and condition and work out on the turf. A lot of the kids were invested and realized that we weren’t champs last year and we know that we can have something that can be really good this year and I’m really happy with the direction and attitude and where we are right now compared to other years.”

“One of the strenghts of this team is their will to listen and to work hard. I also think we’re going to be able to move the ball a little bit better. We only allowed eight goals last year and we lost some starters to graduation on the backline, but I think we can replace them and be really good. We pride ourselves defensively and I also think we’re going to score a few more goals than last year.”

“Another strength is depth, no question. We have a lot of kids that can play and will play. I feel confident with all 11 starters and if someone goes down I have kids to replace them with. We’re not going to miss a beat.”
